Jim and I returned from our trip to the World Samoyed Meeting at Sagadi Manor, Tallinn, Estonia earlier in the week. It was a stunning event consisting of two shows judged by international Samoyed specialist judges, Janet Ainscow (Australia) and Tuula Pratt (Finland), and Penny Roberts (Uk) and Katarzyna Szutkiwicz (Poland). The event was held at Sagadi Manor, a most beautiful venue in picturesque grounds, about an hour’s drive out of Tallinn. The after-Show dinners were held in the Manor, which was absolutely exquisite, and we were utterly impressed with the organisation of the whole event!Read More
The first thing people say when they see a Samoyed is "what a beautiful dog" followed quickly with "Oh they must be so hard to keep clean". I have never found it difficult to keep my Samoyeds clean and as long as you regularly groom them they will stay pretty good until one day you just know it is time for a bath. Of course if you are showing your Samoyed you will be bathing before a show.Read More

It was a very successful event attended by new members with non-show Samoyeds.
The success of the day was enhanced by the enthusiastic organisational skills of our ring-steward, Sharon Kelly, and all the assistants who had participants in the right place at the right time!
Thanks are especially extended to our judge, Karla Magnus, who judged, directed, coached and helped tidy up afterwards!
Congratulations to all the people who gave showing a go- you were great!Read More
